Marshall Square has 26 apartments. It consists of 24 one-bedroom units and 2 two-bedroom units. The property was purchased and modified using HUD "Replacement Housing" funds set aside when the Northland site was demolished in 1995. This apartment site is located 1 block east of 7th & Gage Blvd.
Sophie George, Deputy Director, oversaw a complete make-over of Marshall Square: new roof, new wall and ceiling insulation, new bathroom and kitchen fixtures, new cabinets, new appliances, new electrical and plumbing.
Marshall Square was named after Joseph E. Marshall Sr. who has given so much of his time over the past nine years as a member of the THA Board of Commissioners. The Board re-elected him as the Board Chair.
